How to Use Roblox Outfit Codes in Brookhaven, Berry Avenue and Catalog Avatar Creator

What Roblox outfit codes really are, how to find any item's ID, and step-by-step instructions to wear them in Brookhaven, Berry Avenue and Catalog Avatar Creator.

“Outfit codes” are one of the most searched things on Roblox, and the name confuses a lot of players. In most games they are simply item IDs: the number Roblox gives every hat, shirt, pair of pants and accessory in its catalog. Paste the right numbers into a game that supports them and your avatar wears those items there, for free.

This guide shows how to find any item’s ID and how to use IDs in the three games where people use them most.

What an outfit code is

Every item in the Roblox catalog has a unique number. A full “outfit” is just a list of those numbers: hair, a shirt, pants and a few accessories. Roleplay games like Brookhaven and Berry Avenue let you type those numbers into their avatar menu to wear the items inside the game without buying them.

Catalog Avatar Creator is different. Besides item IDs, it has its own outfit codes: short codes that load a complete outfit another player saved in the game. Both kinds are explained below.

How to find the ID of any item

On the Roblox website, open the item’s page and look at the address bar. The ID is the number right after /catalog/:

roblox.com/catalog/1234567890/item-name

In the Roblox app, open the item, use Share, copy the link and take the number from it the same way.

Our outfit codes by style pages list the IDs of popular items with a copy button next to each one, so you do not have to dig through links.

Brookhaven RP

  1. Join Brookhaven and open the avatar editor, the icon with a person and a pencil on the side of the screen.
  2. Find the option to add an item by ID.
  3. Paste the item ID and confirm (press Enter on a computer).
  4. If the item is still on the catalog, it appears on your character right away. Repeat for every piece of the outfit.

Brookhaven updates its menus from time to time, so the button may move, but it is always inside the avatar editor.

Berry Avenue

  1. Join Berry Avenue and open the avatar menu.
  2. Tap Import ID.
  3. Paste the item ID in the box and tap Add.
  4. If a new item overlaps something you already wear, remove the old piece from your equipped items.

Berry Avenue’s avatar menu also has scale settings, which help when a piece of clothing looks odd on your body shape.

Catalog Avatar Creator

Catalog Avatar Creator is built for trying on items, and it accepts both kinds of codes:

  • Item IDs. Paste an ID into the game’s search box to find that exact item and try it on. If you love it, the game lets you buy it for your real avatar.
  • Outfit codes. Open Community Outfits, then the Outfit Loader, and type an outfit’s code to wear the whole look at once. Our Catalog Avatar Creator codes page collects outfit codes with pictures, sorted by style.

Why a code does not work

  • The item was taken down. Roblox removes items for copyright and rule breaks, and their IDs stop working everywhere. This is the most common reason.
  • A typo. One wrong or missing digit gives a different item or none at all. Copy and paste instead of typing.
  • The game does not accept that kind of item. Some games only support certain types, such as classic shirts and pants but not 3D clothing.
  • The menu changed. After a big update, the ID option may have moved to a new tab.

We re-check the IDs on RoTrends regularly and drop the ones that disappear, but any list on the internet can go out of date. If an ID fails, check the item’s page on roblox.com.

Tips for building an outfit

  • Start with hair, then a top and bottom, then add two or three accessories. Too many accessories usually clip into each other.
  • Keep your favorite IDs in a note on your phone so you can rebuild a look in seconds.
  • Mix styles: our style pages group items by look, like emo, y2k, preppy or cottagecore, which makes matching easier.

Questions

Do outfit codes cost Robux?

Wearing an item by its ID in games like Brookhaven or Berry Avenue is free, and it only changes your look inside that game. Owning the item on your real Roblox avatar costs whatever its catalog price is.

Are Brookhaven codes and Berry Avenue codes the same?

Yes. Both games use normal Roblox catalog IDs, so the same number works in both, as long as that game accepts that kind of item.

Why does my avatar go back to normal when I leave?

Items you wear by ID only exist in that game's server. Your real avatar does not change unless you buy the items and equip them on Roblox.
